Senior Marketing Associate, Patient Marketing

The Senior Marketing Associate will support the execution of marketing initiatives with the goal of improving patient engagement across the patient journey. This role involves supporting new partner implementations and expansions, patient journey optimization strategies, targeted campaigns, and patient education through multi-channel content and creative development, project management, and reporting.

What You'll Do:

  • Content and Creative Development:
    • Coordinate with internal partners and freelancers to develop content and creative for digital (websites, email, SMS, etc.) and print patient marketing channels for each new partner implementation, engagement journey optimization initiatives, patient education, targeted campaigns, and ad hoc patient communications. 
    • Help develop and maintain a comprehensive patient education editorial calendar.
    • Develop some video, print, and digital content directly, repurposing existing content and leveraging approved AI tools where appropriate.
    • Update some creative assets directly in editable templates. Review all creative to ensure changes were made accurately and align with brand guidelines and journey parameters.
  • Project Management:
    • Track projects from concept to completion, ensuring project team members’ deadlines are met and deliverables are approved. 
    • Help coordinate efforts between internal teams, creative agencies, and vendors. Manage team spreadsheets, dashboards, and other trackers to track progress and report on project status.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze key performance metrics for all patient engagement initiatives. Support the development of recommendations for campaign optimizations.

The Skills and Qualifications You Need: 

    • 3 or more years in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, healthcare marketing, or patient engagement
    • 3 or more years in project management, including omni-channel marketing campaigns, using Asana or similar online project management tools
    • 3 or more years working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and working with creative freelancers/agencies
    • Familiarity with patient segmentation and journeys
    • Experience in B2C content strategy, including audience messaging development, channel-specific best practices, editing, and proofreading
    • Strong project management proficiency, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences 
    • Exceptional attention to detail when managing multiple concurrent projects  
    • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., SEO, CRM, email, social media, content management systems) 
    • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, PowerBI, Amplitude, etc.) 
    • Familiar with digital asset management systems a plus
    • Implementation experience is a plus
    • Experience with Jasper and/or other AI marketing tools a plus 
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred
