We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. As part of our organization, this role will be dedicated to building and maintaining the front-end architecture for all of our SaaS applications. Our front-end team is responsible for delivering scalable, performant, and visually appealing user interfaces that enable businesses to unlock insights from complex data. This is an opportunity to shape the front-end foundation of our products and influence technical strategy while working alongside a collaborative and high-performing team.
What You’ll Be Part Of:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of high-quality, scalable, and user-centric web applications. In this role, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor team members, and collaborate across disciplines to bring our vision to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex frontend applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and backend engineering, to create seamless user experiences.
- Drive front-end architectural decisions and best practices, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, conducting code reviews and sharing knowledge.
- Optimize web applications for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and incorporate them into projects where relevant.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience (6+ years) in front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks, with a strong preference for React but open to candidates experienced in Angular or Vue.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Proven experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Context API).
- Deep understanding of web performance optimization and responsive design principles.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and critical thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with server-side rendering frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Nuxt.js).
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Experience with WebAssembly or other emerging web technologies.
- Background in leading technical initiatives or projects.

Target cash compensation range: $70,300- 89,400 EUR Annually
We are committed to providing competitive, market-informed compensation. The cash compensation above includes base salary, variable commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all full time iSpotters are eligible to participate in iSpot’s equity plan to receive stock options. Non-exempt roles will also be eligible for (pre-approved) overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are influenced by different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Hybrid & Flexible Workplace Policy
iSpot supports a hybrid and flexible workplace. Depending on location and work responsibilities, employees may be designated as full-time or part-time office-based or a fully remote employee. A hybrid work schedule indicates that you work in the office some days and work from home other days. The best hybrid workplaces allow for flexibility while also encouraging consistency.
Those local or living in surrounding areas to one of our offices (Bellevue, WA; El Segundo, CA; New York, NY) will work a hybrid schedule, coming into their local office 1-3 days a week. While those in a role, not office-based and located further away from our offices, will work a fully remote schedule.
