Business Resilience Strategist

itD is seeking a Business Resilience Strategist to support and advance enterprise-wide resilience initiatives that strengthen crisis management, business continuity, and organizational preparedness across global operations. This role will drive cross-functional alignment, support strategic resilience programs, and help build scalable frameworks that enable the organization to respond effectively in fast-changing environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in crisis management, enterprise risk management, or business resilience strategy, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful cross-functional initiatives within large, complex organizations.

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 12 Months.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic resilience initiatives across crisis management, business continuity, and organizational preparedness programs.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-level crisis management frameworks and resilience capabilities.
  • Lead and coordinate resilience-focused projects related to governance, response structures, executive training, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including HR, Legal, Infrastructure, Data Center Operations, and Monetization to support crisis planning and execution.
  • Assess existing resilience processes and recommend improvements based on industry best practices, lessons learned, and evolving business priorities.
  • Develop and deploy tools, workflows, and operational resources that strengthen crisis response and business continuity capabilities.
  • Integrate emerging AI tools into day-to-day workflows to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance program effectiveness.
  • Provide advisory support and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership on resilience planning and problem-solving approaches.
  • Review deliverables across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment, consistency, and high-quality execution.

Internal Responsibilities

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 5–6+ years of experience in crisis management, enterprise risk management, business resilience, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environments.
  • Experience collaborating with senior-level internal and external business stakeholders across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management experience supporting enterprise resilience or strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Experience supporting or implementing global programs within large-scale organizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools in day-to-day workflows to improve operational efficiency and project delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to drive impact independently.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Management consulting experience.
  • Background in business transformation or change management initiatives.
  • Experience developing or launching enterprise-wide programs for Fortune 50 or similarly complex organizations.
  • Experience reporting to executive leadership teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar technologies.
  • Previous experience supporting global cross-functional resilience programs.
  • Prior experience within large technology organizations is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Emergency Management, Organizational Leadership, or a related field required; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
