The Opportunity
Iterable is looking for a data-driven and highly independent Paid Search Specialist to join our Global Demand Generation team. Reporting to the Director of Global Campaigns, you will lead the hands-on execution of our search strategy, working under the strategic direction of our Digital Performance Marketing Manager. This is a critical role responsible for driving the intent-based pipeline that fuels our growth across NOAM, EMEA, and ANZ.
The search landscape is shifting rapidly. We are looking for an expert who doesn’t narrowly focus on Google Search Ads, but understands how search fundamentals - keywords, headlines, and intent - translate to emerging AI platforms and the broader Google ecosystem (like YouTube). Based in Lisbon, you will drive projects forward during EMEA hours while maintaining a consistent communication loop with US-based stakeholders to ensure global alignment.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Execute the Global SEM Strategy: You will build, launch, and manage all paid search campaigns across our major global regions. You’ll ensure our brand is visible to the right people at the right time to drive high-quality leads and pipeline.
- Master Emerging Search Platforms: You will stay at the forefront of the industry, identifying how search fundamentals (headlines, keywords, and intent-based targeting) translate to new platforms like ChatGPT, AI-driven search engines, and other emerging channels.
- Proactive Roadmap Management: You won’t wait for a to-do list. You will identify new growth opportunities, create your own project plans, and propose experimental tactics that support our high-level digital goals.
- Uncover Insights with Data: You will dive deep into our data stack (Sigma, GA4, and Salesforce) to understand performance trends. You’ll explain the "why" behind the numbers and implement the tactical shifts to solve problems or scale wins.
- Continuous Experimentation & CRO: You will lead a rigorous testing program to improve performance across the entire search funnel. This includes A/B testing ad copy and bidding strategies, as well as partnering with Web and Content teams to lead and own landing page experimentation and conversion rate optimization (CRO) to ensure we are maximizing every dollar spent
- Collaborate Across Teams: You’ll serve as the go-to expert for search execution, working with Product Marketing, Web, and the Digital Performance Marketing Manager to ensure our ads align with global brand and product launches.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- 5+ years of dedicated PPC/SEM experience: You have hands-on experience managing large-scale, global accounts in a B2B SaaS environment.
- A Proactive Growth Mindset: You are curious about where search is going. You understand how to apply search fundamentals (keywords/intent) to the next generation of AI-driven platforms and are excited to test them.
- Strong Analytical Skills: You are highly comfortable working with data. You know how to use tools like Sigma or Tableau to pull insights and make decisions based on facts.
- Experience with CRO & Landing Page Tools: You understand conversion rate optimization principles and have experience using landing page builders or testing tools to improve post-click conversion rates.
- Independence & Reliability: You have a proven ability to drive projects forward during EMEA hours while maintaining a consistent communication loop with US-based stakeholders. You are a master of your own time, working effectively across time zones to make smart, independent decisions without needing constant supervision.
- Clear Communication: You can take complex search data and explain it clearly and concisely in English to stakeholders across the company.

- AI Tooling: You leverage AI (like Gemini) to work faster - whether it’s drafting ad copy or analyzing data exports to find optimizations.
- ABM Experience: You’ve used platforms like 6sense or Demandbase to coordinate search ads with targeted account lists.
- Data Visualization: You enjoy building dashboards that tell a clear story about campaign performance.
