Role Overview:

Itero Group is seeking a Mid-Level UAT / Operations Analyst to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for a loan application system upgrade. This is a hands-on testing role supporting the Operations team and requires prior experience testing loan applications or loan origination systems.

The analyst will work alongside a senior UAT resource who will help establish the testing approach, organize test cases, and provide cross-training. The Mid-Level Analyst will then become a primary execution resource responsible for creating and executing test cases, validating functionality through the front-end/GUI, documenting testing evidence, and identifying appropriate data sets and loans for specific test scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, document, maintain, and execute UAT test cases for a loan application system upgrade.
• Perform hands-on testing of loan applications or loan origination systems through a front-end/GUI.
• Enter and process loans and validate functionality and expected results.
• Test upgraded functionality against business and operational requirements.
• Execute regression and end-to-end testing of impacted functionality.
• Capture and maintain appropriate test evidence, results, defects, and retesting documentation.
• Work with a senior UAT resource to organize the overall testing approach and test-case structure.
• Become a primary hands-on UAT execution resource following onboarding and cross-training.
• Use Excel to organize, analyze, reconcile, and validate testing data.
• Identify appropriate loans and sample data sets needed for specific test scenarios.
• Use Power BI and/or Power Query, where applicable, to identify records containing required data elements for testing.
• Work closely with Operations, business SMEs, technology teams, and other stakeholders to investigate issues and validate fixes.
• Support additional Operations activities related to the system upgrade as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior testing experience with loan applications or loan origination systems is required.
• Hands-on experience executing UAT through a front-end/GUI, including entering loans and validating functionality and results.
• Solid UAT experience, including creating test cases, executing tests, capturing evidence, documenting defects, and performing retesting.
• Experience within financial services, banking, credit union, or a similar environment.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with data sets.
• Ability to translate business requirements into executable test cases.
• Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a loan application or loan origination system upgrade, conversion, or modernization initiative.
• Experience with Power BI to identify loans or data populations containing specific attributes needed for testing.
• Experience with Power Query.
• Familiarity with Salesforce; advanced Salesforce expertise is not required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on UAT analyst with prior experience testing loan applications or loan origination systems. This is not a general QA testing position.

The successful candidate should have enough loan application or loan origination system testing experience to quickly learn the environment, work alongside the senior UAT resource, and ultimately take significant ownership of the day-to-day UAT execution for the system upgrade.
