Responsibilities
- Assist in Project Development: Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various fire safety and risk management projects, contributing to the design and implementation of safety solutions.
- Conduct Research: Engage in research activities to support project objectives, including gathering data on fire safety regulations, emerging hazards, and best practices in the industry.
- Support Technical Analysis: Help in the analysis of fire protection systems and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Prepare Documentation: Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and project documentation, ensuring clarity and precision in communication.
- Participate in Team Meetings: Attend regular team meetings to discuss project progress, share insights, and receive feedback from mentors and colleagues.
- Engage in Learning Opportunities: Take advantage of mentorship and training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge in fire safety and risk management.
- Contribute to Innovation: Participate in brainstorming sessions aimed at developing innovative solutions to complex safety challenges, leveraging emerging technologies and research findings.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism in all tasks, contributing to a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Recently graduated or about to graduate in Fire Protection Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or similar Engineering related subject.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with fire safety principles, building codes, and risk management practices is preferred. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and apply it to real-world scenarios.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in Italian is required; English is also preferred.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating respect and support for colleagues.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges, technologies, and methodologies in the field of fire safety and risk management.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and documentation.
- Proficiency in Software: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
- Passion for Safety: A genuine interest in safety, security, and risk management, with a commitment to making a positive impact in the field.
