Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Alliance Consultant in a part-time or advisory capacity to provide high-level strategic insight, facilitate executive collaborations, and shape alliance-driven business initiatives. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in alliance management, stakeholder engagement, and transformational leadership. The consultant will work closely with JMW leadership and partner organizations to establish and optimize complex alliances that deliver tangible, high-value outcomes.
Travel Requirement:
This role requires travel to client sites and industry events as needed to facilitate strategic partnerships and executive engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise C-suite executives and senior leaders on strategic alliance frameworks, governance models, and best practices.
- Provide expert guidance on structuring, negotiating, and optimizing high-value alliances, joint ventures, and multi-party collaborations.
- Facilitate high-performance teaming within alliances, ensuring alignment on vision, strategy, and execution.
- Support JMW in business development efforts by leveraging industry networks and identifying new alliance opportunities.
- Act as a strategic sounding board for JMW and partner organizations, offering high-level insights on partnership strategy and execution.
- Represent JMW in industry forums, thought leadership initiatives, and executive roundtables related to alliances and collaborative business models.
- Offer executive coaching and advisory support to key alliance leaders navigating complex partnership challenges.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in alliance strategy, executive advisory, or strategic consulting.
- A proven track record of leading multi-billion-dollar alliances, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership teams.
- Expertise in progressive contracting models, alliance governance, and performance-based partnership structures.
- Exceptional relationship-building, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work flexibly in an advisory capacity, providing insights and strategic direction as needed.
- Experience in infrastructure, energy, government, or large-scale transformation projects is highly preferred.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
