Job Summary
The Front Desk Coordinator will provide administrative and office support for multiple departments. The ideal candidate must be service-oriented with the ability to pay attention to details in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent ability to organize, good judgment in confidential situations, and work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as clients and vendors.
Primary Responsibilities
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for overall front desk activities including management of the reception area, meeting areas, conference rooms, phones, email, mail, and packages.
- Fielding telephone calls and transferring to the appropriate company personnel
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing them appropriately, and notifying company personnel of visitor arrival
- Messenger and FedEx request scheduling for office and site personnel
- Assist the accounting department with check distribution, payroll check distribution, waivers, and check pick ups
- Assist office management with requests and overflow work from various departments
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Flexible professional with a 2+ years of corporate experience (construction industry preferred)
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Salary Information
- To the extent this position is performed in New York City, the annual salary for this role is $55,000.
