Software Engineer Associate (Internship)

About our Internship Program:

We are assembling a dedicated internship team of 3 Software Engineering Interns and 1 Product Owner Intern, who will work side-by-side with experienced professionals and use AI-assistance to build meaningful solutions in the emergency management and response domain. This 4-month program offers hands-on experience, exposure to modern engineering and product practices, and the chance to contribute to real products used worldwide. You’ll join a supportive environment that values learning, innovation, collaboration, and aims to integrate AI tools into everyday engineering. Successful interns may be offered full-time employment at the end of the program, depending on performance and results. The program is planned to start around February 2^nd, 2026, with flexibility based on intern availability.

Position title: Software Engineer Associate (Internship)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with your team to build and improve software features with the support of a dedicated mentor
• Use AI-assisted coding tools as part of your daily development process
• Participate actively in all Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, planning)
• Take ownership of assigned work and communicate progress clearly within the team

Requirements: 

• Some experience on TypeScript, JavaScript is a must
• Familiarity with source repositories (Git or another version control system) 
• Experience building web applications (UI+API+DB) 
• Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum principles
• Willingness to learn and experiment with AI coding assistant tools
• Good communication in English
• A proactive, open mindset and willingness to take responsibility for your work

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with React framework
• Basic understanding automated testing, i.e. unit, integration or E2E
• Experience using AI code generation agents
• Exposure to cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS)
