WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer with expertise in ZScaler, you will design, build, and manage secure solutions to protect critical infrastructure and data across multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security strategies, automate processes, and ensure systems operate efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain secure configurations aligned with the organization's Zero Trust approach.
- Perform data and network analysis to inform access control and segmentation policies.
- Partner with teams to implement fine-grained segmentation strategies consistent with Zero Trust principles.
- Configure and manage security tools (e.g., CSPM, SIEM, EDR, SOAR) in cloud environments.
- Apply best practices for network and endpoint security solutions.
- Integrate security platforms with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native services.
- Create scripts to automate monitoring, reporting, and operational processes.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust configurations to optimize effectiveness.
- Ensure secure deployment in containerized and virtualized infrastructures.
- Address and resolve vulnerabilities in collaboration with technical teams.
- Build dashboards and reports to track system health and security posture.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or a closely related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as security platform implementation and management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong background in network security and experience with platforms such as Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Wiz, Splunk, and other CSPM, SIEM, EDR, or SOAR tools.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models, including microsegmentation and access policy enforcement.
- Certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
- Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of container and virtualization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, VMware).
WHAT WE OFFER:
The annual salary range for this role is $80,000-$100,000.
LOCATION:
This role is hybrid and requires 3 days per week in office in Seattle, WA.
