The role of Product Owner will play an important part in delivering new Billing and Payments features. They will partner closely with the Product, Design and the Development team to ensure smooth delivery of new features that align with the overall product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering - Translate high-level business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements.
  • Backlog Management - Create, prioritize, and maintain a well-refined product backlog based on customer feedback, market trends, and business priorities.
  • Sprint Planning & Execution - Work closely with the development team to plan and execute sprints, ensuring timely delivery of features.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Act as a liaison between the development team and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity on objectives.
  • Testing - Perform testing to be confident that the product meets requirements and user stories.
  • Documentation - Document feature changes that can be used by internal teams for training and support docs. 
  • Support - Work with an internal support team to investigate product support tickets and then work with engineering to resolve any issues that arise..
  • Collaboration - Establish and maintain good working relationships both within the product, development teams and the wider organization.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner role 
  • Understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle and what goes into designing building, and, testing apps and integrations 
  • Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, balancing diverse priorities and needs.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to work in an international, multi-location team.
  • Bonus is experience working with billing or payments systems
