Job Overview
Kardigan is seeking a leader for Development Operations to lead outsourcing, vendor management and clinical trial business operations to support its portfolio of late-stage cardiovascular assets. This position will be responsible for overseeing the management of vendor and site contracts and budgets across multiple programs and indications. This will be a hands-on role that interfaces with CROs and is responsible for building and managing the internal development business operations team. This position reports to the Head of Development Operations and serves as a member of the Development Operations Leadership Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Directs and coordinates vendor evaluation, selection, and documentation process including generating and distributing RFIs/RFPs in conjunction with cross-functional teams, organizing competitive bid defense meetings, assessing vendor capabilities,
- Assists Clinical QA with onboarding/due diligence of new vendors.
- Designs and implements end-to-end outsourcing/procurement working guidelines and contributes to SOPs to streamline supplier interactions and inspection readiness
- Drives the portfolio planning, resourcing, and budgeting exercise for development operations.
- Led monthly vendor budget meetings to review accruals and forecasts.
- Build and lead a team of contract and budget analysts to ensure timely execution of clinical site contracts and budgets
- Assess and analyze data to drive internal decision making on insourcing and outsourcing decisions
- Liaise with finance and legal team to ensure seamless use of systems and processes across the portfolio
Exact Compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.
Pay range
$190,000 - $240,000 USD
