Guest Experience Billing Specialist

The Role

Kasa is searching for a remote Guest Billing Specialist to join our Guest Experience team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Guest Communications. As a Guest Billing Specialist, you will help build Kasa's global brand by ensuring reservation accuracy, resolving guest billing inquiries, and performing recurring audits to maximize guest satisfaction and financial reporting accuracy. You will have an opportunity to see firsthand how we take care of our guests and also have insights into the revenue side of the business.

Individuals with at least one year of administrative, audit, billing, or hospitality experience are encouraged to apply.

This role is in our Guest Experience department, but will work very closely with departments across Kasa. We have team members located all over the US and the world. Our team is full of people with diverse backgrounds and we work hard to maintain a positive environment within the department. Day in the life of a Kasa Guest Billing Specialist

As a Guest Billing Specialist, your typical day will include performing billing audits and adjusting reservation data to ensure financial accuracy. You will regularly contact guests by email, phone, text, SMS to resolve billing issues and payment inquiries based on these findings.

You will work closely with the Communications, Reservations, and Portfolio teams to ensure the accuracy of reservation reporting and to deliver expedient resolutions for payment. You will often need to work cross-collaboratively to process payments for unique reservation circumstances and long-term stays.

Some key duties of this role will be to help ensure that all billing-related transitions and activities are completed for new building transitions, support resolutions with our distribution partners, and manage the processing of long term stay payment plans.  

Experience

  • At least one year of experience in an administrative, night / sales audit, AR or billing
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Stripe; accounting background preferred but not required
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills; this role involves multiple ongoing processes that require superior attention to detail
  • You're highly motivated and able to maintain efficiency while working independently
  • You're proactive by nature and can act decisively when needed
  • You’re a team player who is committed to uplifting your coworkers and the company

  • Taken ownership of daily audit and billing resolution processes
