ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Team Lead to join our store team in our Mercer Flagship.

The Team Lead should be an innovative leader who is committed to driving excellence in the Client and Team experience. As a Team Lead, you will be an ambassador of the brand and will assist the Store Director and Assistant Store Director in mentoring and developing the team, building client relationships, proactively championing the achievement of sales goals, and ensuring that the highest level of Client experience is delivered.

In this role you will co-create strategies with the Store Director and Assistant Store Director. As a strong communicator with the skill to build relationships, this role will strive to deliver all client interactions in line with our KHAITE client journey ethos thus further driving loyalty to the brand and our positioning within the luxury market space.

With a focused, entrepreneurial attitude, you will have the ability to expertly identify desired products for our clients based on their individual profiles and market trends in order to maintain and drive both our position in the market and business results. This role requires strong leadership skills in order to develop, coach and support our team of Client Advisors to their highest potential.

Your Impact:

  • Support the Store Director with managing the client advisor team on the sales floor. Leading with a client first mindset supporting KHAITE’s commercial goals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build consensus amongst the sales team with strong mentorship and coaching to ensure sales goals are exceeded
  • Deliver a best-in-class client experience identifying opportunities to continually elevate standards maximizing company tools setting the example for the client advisor team
  • Support the Store Director to deliver local and regional CRM activations building client retention
  • Support with interviewing,  onboarding, on-going training

Sales:

  • Achieve sales goals by managing individual Client Advisor performance - providing in-the-moment coaching as well as monthly performance reviews in partnership with the Assistant Store Director
  • Remain constantly aware of competitor and market trends, partnering with regional commercial and merchandising teams to provide timely and quantified feedback to inform future business decisions/strategies.
  • Be an active participant in all 360 business reviews and store visits
  • Maximize business tools and reporting to elevate performance
  • Complete any required sales reporting including weekly highlights providing timely and quantified feedback
  • Work in partnership with the Store Director and Assistant Store Director to manage the store’s controllable expenses with oversight of payroll, overtime and temps (as and when required)

People:

  • Inspire great performance by modeling KHAITE client-centric values
  • Seek to develop internal talent in partnership with the Store Director and Assistant Store Director - actively participate in the annual review process by sharing insights and building individual talent development plans
  • Be an active participant in all new-hire onboarding
  • Maximize business tools to support team education
  • CRM
  • Support the Store Director and Assistant Store Director to ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures including but not exclusive to- inventory management, loss prevention, IT, and health & safety

Education/Experience:

  • 7+ years of retail experience, preferably within a luxury environment
  • College degree or equivalent preferred
  • Able to successfully manage people and process, driving change within a dynamic environment
  • Previous experience within an omnichannel environment
  • Computer literacy - Proficient in all Microsoft office programs with particular strength in Excel
  • Foreign Languages a plus

WE OFFER

The salary range is $85,000-90,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience. Other benefits include medical, dental, and vision programs, a company bonus plan, employee discounts and perks, a 401k plan with employer match, and other ancillary benefits.

New York Pay Range

$85,000 - $90,000 USD
