ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Digital Designer to join the KHAITE team. This role will report to the Director, Content Marketing and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. This role requires a unique blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and an understanding of user experience. The ideal candidate is a self-start, responsible for designing and producing engaging digital assets that reflect the KHAITE brand aesthetic. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Strategic Marketing, Brand Marketing, Creative Marketing, and Digital/E-Commerce to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and design high-quality still, motion, and gif assets for the KHAITE website, email, social, paid media, OOH, and other marketing channels
  • Develop and maintain design systems, creative briefs, guidelines, toolkits, and graphic treatments (invitations, collection notes, branded collateral) ensuring consistency across global digital and physical touchpoints.
  • Support internal 360 marketing initiatives by creating in-situ mockups, layout proposals, project briefs, and cropping guidelines for internal presentations
  • Perform adhoc retouching, editing, and color-correcting where necessary to ensure all visuals meet brand standards and product accuracy
  • Support with print production and liaise with external vendors to ensure the quality and accuracy of print deliverables
  • Update brand book 1x per season with new imagery and initiatives to showcase evolving brand marketing and messaging
  • Partner closely with the e-commerce team to conceptualize and create a compelling customer journey and user experience across all layers of our owned website
  • Creatively ideate new designs, layouts, templates for campaign newsletters, launch emails, and organic/paid social
  • Provide cross-functional asset production support on a seasonal basis to the Wholesale, Merchandising, Events, Press, HR, VIC and Retail teams
  • Stay current on emerging trends in advertising, digital design, publications, brand launches, creative agency output, and 360 marketing campaigns
  • Digitally native as well as comfortable with traditional media (OOH, printed collateral, etc.)

Education/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in digital design and photo retouching within the fashion & luxury industries
  • In-house or agency experience preferred with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and the lifecycle of a go-to-market seasonal business strategy
  • Strong visual communication skills with a portfolio of work to demonstrate
  • Strategic thinker and creative problem solver
  • Expert in design tools Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Keynote, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in Premier Pro, After Effects, Frame.io, and/or other video editing software
  • Familiarity with Figma, Klaviyo, Shopify development, HTML, CSS, and/or JavaScript is a plus
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of typography, color, usability, layout, and other design principles
  • A strong aptitude towards technology with a willingness to learn new skills and programs

WE OFFER

The salary range is $75,000-85,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidates' relevant skills and experience. Other benefits include medical, dental, and vision programs, a company bonus plan, employee discounts and perks, a 401k plan with employer match, and other ancillary benefits.

New York Pay Range

$75,000 - $85,000 USD
