ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an Events & Experiences Intern to join the KHAITE team for this Fall Semester. This role will report to the Global Director, Events & Experiences and will be based out of the NYC HQ offices. This internship is unpaid and for college credit only.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the coordination and execution of all KHAITE Events, including Show Styling, Show, Market, VIC Events, Cocktails, Dinners, and Retail Activations.
- Assist with vendor research/outreach in local and new markets.
- Help create Event Overview Decks, Recap Reports, and Production Schedules.
- Logistical support in messengering, shipping, deliveries, and pick-ups of event materials.
- Support in maintaining and upkeeping local inventory and supplies.
- Expense organization and management.
- Working on-site during local New York based events.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; with a strong attention to details.
- Passion for luxury fashion, events, experiential marketing, and client relations.
- Keen interest for fashion and eagerness to immerse themselves in the industry.
Education/Experience:
- Currently enrolled for a Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in Communications, Fashion, Marketing, Event Planning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as the Google Suite
- Prior experience in event planning, PR, client relations, or styling is preferred.
