About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer (Front-End) to lead and drive core projects while serving as a technical leader within our front-end engineering team. This role is pivotal in shaping the architecture, guiding implementation best practices, and ensuring the success of complex, high-impact projects across our product offerings.
As a Staff Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers, to design and deliver performant, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions. You will also mentor and support engineers across the team, fostering technical growth and driving the adoption of modern front-end technologies and methodologies.
What you'll do:
As a Staff Engineer leading core front-end projects, you will take ownership of integrating with VendorServices and SMART on FHIR, ensuring seamless front-end integration with healthcare services. You will guide the development of both traditional front-end projects and specialized healthcare applications, with a focus on real-time data interactions, security, and scalability. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will deliver innovative solutions that push the boundaries of healthcare technology. Additionally, you will mentor and support the engineering team, driving best practices in front-end development, and optimizing performance and security across applications. Your problem-solving skills will ensure a smooth user experience, even in complex healthcare-specific environments like Epic Hyperspace, while staying up-to-date on advancements in front-end technologies to continuously improve our systems.
Who you are:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with Epic integration and healthcare interoperability standards.
- Proficiency with FHIR and SMART on FHIR protocols.
- Strong experience working with VendorServices and healthcare service integrations.
- Solid expertise in ReactJS and front-end development.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks.
- Strong JavaScript skills with an ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Experience with modern front-end development practices and tools.
