Product Marketing Manager - Kikoff

San Francisco

Kikoff: The Fintech Powering Financial Security at Scale
Kikoff is a profitable, pre-IPO fintech company on a mission to empower everyone to achieve financial security. With record revenue growth in 2025 and a unicorn valuation, we've built a suite of products that help millions of people build credit, access liquidity, and save money.
We're scaling fast. Join us if you want to build something meaningful and help millions of people move forward financially.

Why Kikoff:

This is a consumer fintech startup, and you will be working with serial entrepreneurs who have built strong consumer brands and innovative products. We value extreme ownership, clear communication, a strong sense of craftsmanship, and the desire to create lasting work and work relationships. Yes, you can build an exciting business AND have real-life real-customer impact.

The Role

We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to help drive adoption and customer experience for Kikoff — the #1 credit-building app. We've already empowered over 1 million customers on their financial journey, and this role is a key part of how we get to millions more.

This is a role for someone who leads with customer curiosity, executes with precision, and is energized by the work that happens before a product launches — understanding customers deeply, shaping messaging, and making sure the right story reaches the right people. You'll work closely with Product, Design, Growth, and Customer Support to drive meaningful outcomes for our customers and our business.

What you'll own:

  • Positioning and messaging. Develop sharp, customer-first messaging for Kikoff's core product. Run experiments to test and optimize how we communicate our value proposition across key surfaces.
  • Experimentation and landing page optimization. Own Kikoff's marketing landing pages — keeping them sharp, on-message, and continuously improving. Design and execute A/B tests on messaging, copy, and page elements to optimize conversion. Define success metrics, analyze results, and share learnings with the broader team.
  • Customer research. Roll up your sleeves and talk to customers. Conduct interviews, analyze support data, run surveys, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals into clear insights that inform positioning and product decisions.
  • Go-to-market execution. Own GTM plans for new features and products — from messaging and positioning to launch coordination and post-launch measurement. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure launches land well and drive adoption.
  • Competitive and market intelligence. Stay close to the competitive landscape. Maintain positioning frameworks and competitive cheat sheets that help product and growth teams make better decisions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration. Work closely with Product, Design, Customer Support, and Growth to align on priorities, surface customer needs, and ensure the customer perspective is represented in key decisions.

What will make you successful:

  • Customer obsession. You always start with the customer. You're comfortable talking to users directly and turning what you hear into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Executional excellence. You drive projects to completion with attention to detail, even in ambiguous environments. You can manage multiple workstreams without dropping quality.
  • Analytical mindset. You use data to inform your decisions — whether that's funnel analysis, experiment results, or customer behavior signals. You know which metrics matter and why.
  • Strong communication. You write clearly, present confidently, and can explain complex ideas simply — to customers, to teammates, and to leadership.
  • Product marketing experience. 3+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in consumer tech or fintech. Hands-on experience with GTM execution, messaging, and customer research.

Why Kikoff:

Kikoff exists to expand access to financial opportunity. Product marketing here means you're directly accountable for how customers understand and experience what we build. You'll have real ownership, close partnership with product, and the opportunity to do work that genuinely improves people's financial lives.
