Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Finance

Walnut Creek, CA

BUILT ON FLAVOR.  FUELED BY PEOPLE.

What’s it like to work at Kinder’s? Well, there’s a lot of snacking and geeking out over what we all cooked over the weekend. Beyond that, there’s also plenty of hard work. Because we don’t just like flavor, we’re obsessed with it.

With over 100 products sold nationwide, we’re now a top-five brand in multiple flavor categories at Costco, Walmart, Whole Foods, and more. We’re not your typical CPG company. Privately held and founder-led, we like to think of ourselves as a pirate ship in a sea of cruise ships. Our crew is adventurous and fearless. We chart our own course and chase big ideas to make food unforgettable.

As we expand globally and approach $1 billion in revenue, we need more smart-and-scrappy, flavor-obsessed people to come aboard. If you’re looking for a place where you can see the real impact of your work... this is it! Every day, you’ll be part of a journey to add flavor to millions of meals and lives.

About This Role:

At Kinder's, we're passionate about flavor, quality, and creating exceptional food experiences. As our company continues to grow, so does the scale and complexity of our supply chain across co-manufacturing, logistics, and an expanding SKU portfolio.

The Supply Chain Finance Analyst will support the financial processes, reporting, and analysis that keep our operations running efficiently. This role goes beyond pulling numbers — delivering rigorous analysis and actionable insights that improve performance and support sound decision-making across Supply Chain and Operations.

Operating in a fast-moving and evolving environment, this analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while helping guide decisions made with imperfect information. The role partners closely with Supply Chain and Operations teams and supports senior finance leadership with supply chain financial insights.

This position plays an important role in helping balance service, cost, margin, and working capital to ensure supply chain decisions support the company's long-term financial health and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Financial Reporting & Business Partnership

  • Support Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement teams as a day-to-day finance partner.
  • Assist in preparing supply chain financial performance summaries and insights for senior leadership.
  • Help translate operational metrics into financial outcomes, connecting service levels, inventory, productivity, and cost drivers to EBITDA and cash flow.
  • Maintain and improve recurring budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes specific to supply chain operations.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments where financial structures continue to mature and decisions must be made with imperfect information.
  • Support structured financial analysis of trade-offs across service, cost, margin, and capital efficiency.

Cost Management & Margin Analysis

  • Support COGS and supply chain cost reporting and analysis, including management reporting across materials, labor, overhead, freight, warehousing, and co-manufacturing.
  • Build and maintain financial models that support structural margin improvement initiatives in partnership with Operations and Procurement.
  • Assist in evaluating sourcing strategies, network decisions, SKU rationalization, and capacity investments through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
  • Partner with R&D and Brand on new product costing, reformulations, and pack changes to ensure strong financial foundations from launch through lifecycle management.
  • Support working capital management analysis, helping ensure inventory investments are economically justified and aligned with growth objectives.

Budgeting, Forecasting, & Reporting

  • Support annual budget and rolling forecast processes for Supply Chain.
  • Assist in embedding financial rigor into S&OP / IBP processes through scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
  • Maintain KPIs and dashboards that clearly connect operational performance to financial outcomes.
  • Deliver forward-looking insights on variances, risks, and opportunities — not just retrospective reporting.
  • Help track financial guardrails that balance service levels, inventory investment, and cash flow sustainability.

Procurement & Vendor Economics

  • Support Procurement on supplier negotiations, cost breakdowns, and should-cost analysis.
  • Assist with risk analysis related to commodities, tariffs, and supply disruption.
  • Help ensure sourcing decisions align with margin objectives, service expectations, and capital efficiency.

What You Bring To The Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of progressive finance experience, with exposure to supply chain or operations finance preferred.
  • Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or similarly inventory-intensive, high-volume businesses a plus.
  • Ability to translate operational drivers into clear financial insights.
  • Comfortable operating in high-growth or evolving environments where processes are still being built.
  • Working knowledge of COGS, inventory management economics, and working capital.
  • Ability to build cross-functional relationships and communicate clearly with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Exposure to co-manufacturing, 3PLs, and complex SKU portfolios a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and planning tools.
  • Exposure to S&OP / IBP processes a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail with comfort presenting findings to senior partners.

Location and Travel:

The position will be based onsite in Walnut Creek, CA. We strongly believe in the power of culture and community and have a hybrid work structure with 4 days in the office on a weekly basis to encourage collaboration and personal connections that will allow us to better serve our customers and consumer and to have more fun. Fridays are flex days with employees having the opportunity to choose to be either in the office or to work from home based on what makes most sense for them.

SEASONED FOR SUCCESS:

  • No two days here are the same.
  • We try to be good team members and good communicators, but we don’t live by hierarchy and structure – everyone is a difference maker here.
  • We make a lot of decisions in the face of incomplete information – our team embraces ambiguity and tries to make good decisions fast rather than great decisions slow.
  • We believe our job is to take smart risk, not to eliminate risk.
  • We believe in growing our skills and becoming a better company with more managerial expertise, but we are an entrepreneurial company at heart.
  • We aren’t trying to be average – we want to do exceptional things, and we are willing to work hard to achieve them.

BENEFITS THAT BRING MORE TO THE TABLE:

We offer a range of total rewards that may include paid time off, 401k, bonus / incentive eligibility, equity grants, competitive health benefits, and other family-friendly benefits, including parental leave. Kinder’s benefits vary based on eligibility and can be reviewed in more detail during the interview process.

OUR RECIPE FOR BALANCE:

We believe great culture starts with people. We’re a people-first company built on connection, collaboration, and balance. Most of our work happens in the office to spark creativity and community, but we also offer flexibility so team members have the autonomy to work outside the office when needed to support their work-life balance and personal commitments.
