
CISO Advisor (Fluent in Japanese) (Position located in Tokyo, Japan)

The CISO Advisor is responsible for amplifying the KnowBe4 messaging related to the importance of, effectiveness of, and the need for HRM+, including new-school security awareness training within organizations through social media, webinars, in-person presentations, industry trade shows and traditional media outlets. This public-facing position reflects the values, messaging and culture of KnowBe4. The CISO Advisor provides direct support and services to the Public Relations (PR) and Marketing departments within KnowBe4.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a thought leader for our message, brand, and content through thought leadership and blogging, social media, and speaking
- Speak at conferences to build KnowBe4’s reputation as a thought leader in cybersecurity
- Work closely with executive leadership, product, engineering and sales to understand our product roadmap and create engaging content to drive demand for KnowBe4 products
- Engage audiences through events and speaking opportunities to demonstrate KnowBe4's thought leadership and amplify KnowBe4’s messaging related to HRM+, new-school security awareness training and other related security issues
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, webinar content, and discussions to create awareness and acceptance of KnowBe4’s products
- Develop relationships with other vendors that can help amplify KnowBe4s message
- Represent KnowBe4 in social media and traditional media
- Stay current on security issues that affect our market and provide feedback, analysis and content to our various audiences
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field preferred
- Experience with information security
- Experience with public speaking and media interviews
- Experience using social media to engage an audience
- Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
- Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- CISSP or similar certification is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Fluent in Japanese
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Ability to explain technical and non-technical information security concepts to a broad range of individuals ranging from security practitioners to high-level company executives is required.
