VP, Sales, EU Life Sciences

As we transition from a service-oriented model to a product-driven platform, we are expanding our leadership team. We are looking for a Vice President, Sales – EU (Life Sciences) to lead part of our global sales efforts. This is a unique opportunity to take on a player/coach role—combining personal business development with the leadership of our Life Sciences sales team.

If you are a proven life sciences sales leader who thrives on building business and new relationships, coaching teams, and shaping growth strategies in an evolving industry, this is the role for you.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Lead & Inspire: Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to three Business Developers while also carrying your own revenue quota.
  • Drive Growth: Build and execute strategic sales plans to expand Konovo’s footprint, exceed revenue and profit targets, and strengthen client relationships.
  • Expand Key Accounts: Cultivate and manage senior-level relationships with pharmaceutical and life sciences organisations, ensuring satisfaction while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Be a Market Expert: Stay ahead of life sciences and healthcare research trends, bringing fresh insight into client conversations and influencing Konovo’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate Globally: Work closely with sales leadership, global delivery teams, and other regional leaders to ensure commercial excellence and seamless client experiences.
  • Shape the Future: Establish KPIs, manage forecasts and CRM, and build a roadmap that will define the next phase of growth for our European life science sales team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strategic sales leader with 10+ years in business development and sales within life sciences and healthcare intelligence. Strong healthcare market research knowledge essential.
  • At least 3 years leading teams with a proven ability to coach, inspire, and elevate performance.
  • A player/coach mindset: equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to close deals and mentoring others to success.
  • A strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets, adept at new business and account development.
  • Deep understanding of life sciences clients (pharma, biotech, medical devices, or healthcare services) including healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with credibility at senior levels.
  • Commercially astute, data-driven, and able to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • Previous experience working within a global organization, collaborating frequently with regional counterparts
  • Willing and eager to travel across the UK and EU
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
