Business Development Associate

Rare Patient Voice plays a critical role in connecting patients and caregivers to research opportunities, ensuring their experiences help shape better healthcare decisions. 

As a Business Development Associate supporting Rare Patient Voice, you will sit at the front line of client engagement. You will own feasibility, pricing, and early-stage client interactions, ensuring every request is handled with speed, accuracy, and care. You will partner closely with delivery and advocacy teams to move work forward seamlessly.  

This is a high-velocity role where strong judgment, attention to detail, and clear communication matter daily. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the details right while moving quickly, this role will give you meaningful ownership from day one. 

This role is open only to candidates currently residing in Mexico with legal authorization to work in Mexico. We are not able to support relocation or visa sponsorship for this position.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Respond to inbound client requests with accurate feasibility and pricing, balancing speed with precision 
  • Partner with internal teams to assess audience availability, timelines, and project viability 
  • Build clear, professional client communications that reflect strong ownership and accountability 
  • Manage 15-25 requests daily while maintaining high quality and responsiveness 
  • Ensure smooth handoff from sales to project delivery with complete and accurate documentation 
  • Track proposals, decisions, and updates across systems to maintain operational clarity 
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and response quality over time 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, market research, or a client-facing operations role 
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate inputs into clear pricing and feasibility decisions 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset 
  • Proven ability to manage high volume work without sacrificing accuracy 
  • High ownership and comfort working independently in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail 
  • Experience with Excel and related tools for tracking and analysis 
  • Exposure to healthcare, patient research, or panel-based research a plus 
  • Demonstrated use of AI or automation tools to improve speed, quality, or workflow efficiency 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
