Position Summary
The Associate Wealth Advisor position is a support role to the senior wealth advisor. Relative to the senior wealth advisor, who is primarily focused on developing new business, the Associate Wealth Advisor is primarily responsible for the success of existing client relationships. The position requires an individual who has a thorough knowledge of the financial services business and who is committed to being part of a team that delivers a comprehensive client solution. This individual must have strong relationship management skills. They must be reliable, organized and deadline driven. A qualified applicant must be dedicated, goal‐oriented, and able to work well in a self‐directed and collaborative environment.
This role is based in Scottsdale, AZ.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support senior advisor in all aspects of client relationship management.
- Participate in client review meetings and facilitate all follow-up items.
- Create financial plan and recommendations for existing new clients.
- Oversee proactive planning strategies (Roth conversion, beneficiaries, taxes, etc.)
- Proactively review and adjust client portfolios for financial planning needs.
- Assist with Corporate Retirement Plan clients.
- Series 65 license is required or obtained within the first three months of hire date.
- CFP designation is preferred or desired to be obtained within two years of hire date.

- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to address people’s emotional needs as it relates to finances.
- Takes direction and executes a plan.
- Excellent listener.
- Keen interest in developing a career within the financial services industry.
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $70,000-$80,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
