Summary/Overview:

The Head of KBRA Ratings Feeds Business will lead the strategy, development, and growth of KBRA’s feeds offerings, ensuring alignment with evolving customer needs and market dynamics. This commercial leadership role will involve managing relationships with key stakeholders, driving revenue growth, and optimizing the business’s operational and financial outcomes. The successful candidate will oversee go-to-market strategies, product enhancements, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain KBRA’s competitive edge in the market.

Key Job Requirements:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a comprehensive business plan for KBRA Ratings Feeds, including product positioning, marketing strategies, and revenue targets.
  • Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with global investment banks, asset managers, regulators, and major information providers (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters) to ensure alignment with customer needs and compliance requirements.
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Create and execute GTM plans, including market analysis, competitive positioning, value hypothesis, and client acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Pricing Strategy: Analyze market demand, competition, and customer needs to develop and amend product pricing strategies.
  • Vendor Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships with third-party vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters) to showcase KBRA’s content and drive revenue growth.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct regular analysis of market trends and competitive dynamics to identify new opportunities and refine product offerings.
  • Operational Excellence: Leverage tools like Salesforce and other tracking systems to ensure accurate prioritization and tracking of sales opportunities, product enhancements, and client feedback.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Deep knowledge of credit risk and ratings feeds, including use cases, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Proven experience in the feeds business with a strong understanding of credit markets and data distribution platforms.
  • Familiarity with modern technologies such as Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing B2B product strategies linked to financial and operational targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in a related field, such as a rating agency, financial institution, or asset management.
  • Familiarity with ratings feeds and data distribution platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead platform migrations and manage complex client implementations.
  • Experience in pricing strategy, competitive analysis, and market intelligence.

Salary Range:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $210,000. Offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience, skills, geography, and other job-related factors.
