Join LAcarGUY as a full-time, onsite Automotive DMV Clerk in Hawthorne, based at Porsche South Bay. We’re seeking an experienced DMV Clerk who can bring strong knowledge of DMV processes, accuracy in handling contracts and registrations, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment. Responsibilities

The DMV Clerk will be responsible for processing daily accounting transactions including, but not limited to, Used Vehicle Purchases, Wholesales, and processing DMV transactions efficiently and accurately.

This role is also requires to frequently reconcile various schedules related to DMV fees, Lien Payoffs, and Wholesale Receivables
Manage DMV vehicle titling and registration process
Ensuring all legal documents are received & accurate
Ensuring title or valid payoff information is received
Processes vehicle titles with precise accuracy.
Researches vehicle titles and resolves issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Required: A minimum of 5 years of prior Automotive Accounting/DMV Dealership experience
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to handle large volumes of paperwork efficiently.
Proficient in using dealership managements systems and billing software (CDK).

Compensation

The estimated hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00.
