The Role 

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President, Strategic Channels & Partnerships to spearhead our partner acquisition initiatives and drive global revenue growth.  Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will oversee our partner programs while leading an international team dedicated to developing, growing and scaling go-to-market programs that support new customer acquisition, account expansion and retention through strategic partnerships.  You will be responsible for setting and executing the strategy for the team, ensuring close alignment with marketing, sales, product and finance leadership to expand Lakeside’s vision and drive ARR to achieve our ambitious goals.

What You'll Do

The core functions of this role include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive partner program strategy aligned with business objectives. Identifying growth opportunities and creating a roadmap to expand our partner ecosystem globally
  • Fostering and sustaining strong relationships with current partners to enhance performance and maximize mutual value, ensuring consistent and proactive assessment of partner needs
  • Identifying and onboarding new strategic partners who align with our vision and values
  • Overseeing negotiations and finalizing partnership agreements that drive revenue growth and expand market reach
  • Fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement while leveraging strong leadership and people management skills to guide quota-carrying teams toward success
  • Driving sales performance and revenue targets through effective sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance evaluation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver partner enablement programs, joint marketing initiatives, and co-selling strategies, ensuring smooth and effective implementation of partner initiatives
  • Tracking and analyzing key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and optimize future efforts
  • Producing regular reports that provide insights into the effectiveness of partnership strategies, financial performance, and areas for improvement

What You'll Bring to Lakeside

The key requirements for this role include:

  • 10 years of experience in a related role, developing executive-level enterprise relationships and driving growth through strategic partnerships within the SaaS industry, preferably within the End-User Computing domain
  • Deep understanding of the global market landscape for Global Systems Integrators and Managed Services Providers
  • Leadership experience with a track record of building and guiding successful partnership teams, demonstrating the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse sales team
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and consistently exceeding partner revenue targets and engagement goals
  • Adept at thinking strategically and developing actionable, long-term plans to achieve business objectives through partnerships, while also executing tactically to deliver immediate results
  • Expertise in negotiating complex agreements and contracts that drive mutual value
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead through influence; building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to command an audience
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by effectively managing multiple priorities and coordinating across teams
  • Skilled in working cross-functionally with multiple business units to develop and implement solutions that meet partner and customer needs, enhancing selling opportunities in complex engagements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or relevant discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, including international travel
