Logistics Planner
Description
This position is responsible for overseeing the movement of merchandise from the vendor for Domestic and International purchase orders, ensuring an effective operation that supports the current and future requirements for the La Senza business. The position will assess the business across the Globe partnering with European counter parts thus identifying cost efficiencies where applicable. The position works in partnership across the business, managing the needs of Merchandising, Sourcing and Planning to bring product to market delivered in full and on time, triggering interventions where required, ensuring that the whole business is aligned around deliveries. The role will include developing strategic partnerships and ensuring the logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently with YOY improvements.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Track shipments from the production vendors to brand for both North America and International Franchise businesses. Ensure freight forwarders are meeting expectations. Communicate any status updated to the brand.
- Create commercial and customs documentation for international shipments
- Assist with inputting International sales orders into D365
- Oversee all purchase orders for North America and International Partners to ensure accuracy.
- Update sales and purchase orders within D365 with the most up to date vendor information
- Manage International Franchise routing guidelines.
- Update Canada CARM and submit advance rulings.
- Prioritize special projects and companywide initiatives that include but are not limited to new channels of trade, 3rd party vendor relationships, etc.
- Follow through with Logistics and DC lead-times for planning purposes / calendar adherence and problem escalation.
- Ensuring accurate vendor product costs are loaded into the system in a timely manner.
- Be responsible for working closely with Planning and Production to input duty, taxes and freight into FOB costs for full loads into the system.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, operations, economics, business or statistics.
- 3-5 years of logistics, custom documentation, inventory management, allocation or replenishment experience, financial planning or financial analysis experience.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to direct execution and operational activities.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong aptitude with numbers; retail math skills; ability to analyze business context and situation.
- Identifies/influences critical stakeholders – proactively problem solves and recommends solutions.
- Builds collaborative partnerships cross-functionally and resolves conflicts efficiently
- Business intelligence: understands and executes business strategy.
- Ability to advance to high levels of computer literacy with strong Excel skills; exposure to relevant planning, finance, analytical, data management systems. Systems used: Microsoft D365, Power BI
- Strong communication and presentation skills: concisely presents complex information/recommendations in terms meaningful to various audiences
- Ability to work independently but knows when to request a partner in key decision-making situations.
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of data and develop recommendations to drive business decisions.
