Product Integrity & Quality Manager

We are seeking a Product Integrity & Quality Manager to ensure our products consistently meet consumer expectations throughout their lifecycle while driving continuous product improvement across the organization.

This position can work from our West Chester, PA headquarters or our Boston, MA location. 

Position Summary

The Manager, Product Integrity & Quality will be responsible for monitoring product performance in the marketplace and driving resolution of quality and reliability issues. This role will serve as the connective link between Product Management, Engineering, Consumer Insights, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to identify product issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, thrives in cross-functional environments, and is passionate about improving products through data, consumer feedback, and structured problem solving.

This role does not have direct reports but will influence teams across the organization and help establish best practices for product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Product Quality & Warranty Performance

  • Monitor warranty claims, retailer returns, service data, and customer complaints across product categories.
  • Analyze trends and identify recurring product quality and reliability issues.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards that highlight key product performance metrics.
  • Partner with Product Management to prioritize product improvements based on consumer impact and business value.

Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions

  • Lead investigations into field failures, warranty claims, retailer feedback, and customer complaints.
  • Facilitate cross-functional root cause analysis efforts involving Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Product teams.
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions through implementation and validation.
  • Ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future product development programs.

Product Teardowns & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct product teardowns of Lasko and competitive products.
  • Evaluate component quality, product construction, reliability, functionality, and cost opportunities.
  • Identify design improvements and feature enhancements based on competitive benchmarking.
  • Provide recommendations to Product Management and Engineering teams.

Product Reliability & Consumer Experience

  • Analyze product reviews, ratings, returns data, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with Consumer Insights teams to uncover recurring consumer pain points.
  • Support reliability testing strategies and validation activities during product development.
  • Help establish reliability and product performance standards across categories.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Consumer Insights, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Facilitate issue resolution meetings and ensure accountability for corrective actions.
  • Present product quality trends and recommendations to leadership.
  • Influence future product requirements based on marketplace performance and consumer feedback.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Product Development, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Quality, Reliability Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing Quality, or related disciplines.
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and leading corrective action initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with consumer products, small appliances, electronics, durable goods, or related industries.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Preferred

  • Experience with warranty analysis, field quality, product returns, and customer feedback systems.
  • Familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, 8D, CAPA, and reliability testing methodologies.
  • Experience conducting product teardowns and competitive benchmarking.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent quality training.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering organizations.
