About this position:
We’re looking for a Content Producer who’s equal parts trend-spotter, content creator, and creative problem solver. You’re the person who’s always thinking, “this would hit for our brand” and then actually bringing it to life.
This role is at the core of our content engine. You’ll work closely with the Senior Social Content Manager to ideate, create, and evolve content that not only looks good – but performs. From tapping into culture to shaping repeatable content, you’ll help ensure everything connects back to strategy, audience behavior, and what’s actually resonating.
This isn’t about chasing every trend. It’s about knowing which ones are worth it – and making them feel like our brands.
What you'll be doing:
Content Ideation & Development
- Develop social-first content ideas across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms
- Bring forward trend-inspired concepts and original ideas that feel fresh, not forced
- Partner with the Senior Social Content Manager, Social Media Manager, and Community Manager to ensure content aligns with brand strategy and campaign goals
- Help build and evolve content series, formats, and creative over time
- Contribute to shaping the brand’s voice and presence on social through content decisions and creative instincts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (social, creative, strategy, influencer) to bring ideas to life
Trends & Cultural Relevance
- Stay deeply tapped into social: trends, sounds, formats, creators, and platform shifts
- Identify trends early and translate them into brand-relevant content quickly (and thoughtfully)
- Understand the why behind trends, not just the execution
Production & Execution
- Shoot and capture content (primarily on iPhone) in both planned and real-time environments
- Edit short-form video with a strong sense of pacing, hooks, and storytelling – from quick-turn native edits to more polished executions using transitions, motion design, text animation, and layered effects when appropriate
- Bring ideas from concept → execution → final delivery with a platform-first mindset
- Create and iterate on content quickly, balancing speed with quality
Performance & Optimization
- Help turn monthly and quarterly insights into new content opportunities
- Help identify patterns across high- and low-performing content (hooks, formats, themes)
- Apply learnings from test-and-learn roadmaps to future content
- Contribute to testing, iterating, and scaling what works
Who You Are:
- A hybrid thinker—equally strategic and creative
- Comfortable leading client conversations and presenting performance insights
- Can easily flex between overseeing a team and rolling up your sleeves
- Deeply fluent in social media trends, platform nuances, and content formats
- Fast, scrappy, and passionate about storytelling through social
What You Bring:
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related field (internships + personal content absolutely count), along with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram content formats and platform behavior
- Experience creating and editing short-form video (iPhone + CapCut or similar tools), with a working knowledge of more advanced editing techniques and simple motion/animation
- Strong creative instincts and an eye for what makes content engaging
- Basic understanding of performance metrics (views, engagement, retention)
- Agency experience is a plus, but not required
You’re probably someone who:
- Knows the difference between a good idea and a good idea for the internet
- Can immediately tell when something feels too branded (and how to fix it)
- Has strong opinions on hooks – and can explain why something didn’t work
- Thinks about content in formats and series, not just one-off posts
- Has a camera roll full of saved ideas and references
- Sends trend ideas before being asked
- Gets excited by comments, shares, and saves – not just views
- Has said “wait, don’t post that yet” and been right
If you can tell within 3 seconds whether a video is flopping, and know how to fix it, we’d love to meet you!
