This position is only open to students currently enrolled in a co-op program through Northeastern University. The term will run from January to June 2027 and the successful candidates will be expected to work in-office five days a week.  

About the role:

The Data & Analytics team is looking to change the game when it comes to Analytics for Later. We are implementing new techniques with a strong AI backing while still meeting the needs of a rapidly changing organization. We're looking for a Data & Analytics Co-op to support Later's Data & Analytics team, working day-to-day with a Senior Analyst who will manage your ramp and workload. You'll work with the team to enhance and evolve our data & analytics assets, effectively supporting teams across Later. 

What you'll be doing:

Analytics Support

  • Help build and maintain data sources, reports, and dashboards leveraging tools like BigQuery, dbt, and vibe code applications
  • Partner with the Senior Analyst to prioritize and develop a scalable approach to Analytics tools
  • Pull, validate, and structure data sets for ad hoc analysis
  • Creatively approach business and client questions and how to measure business impact

Data Quality & Collaboration

  • Review data for accuracy and completeness before it reaches stakeholders 
  • Setting up guardrails to automate awareness of any known data gaps
  • Flag and help resolve data quality issues
  • Communicate findings & impact clearly to the Senior Analyst and broader team

What success looks like:

  • Collaborate closely with our Analytics team and core Later stakeholders, building relationship and process together
  • Develop ownership of at least one reporting area, end to end, and can independently troubleshoot & solution common data anomalies
  • By the end of the term, you've built or improved at least one dashboard or process the team relies on

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Math, or a related technical field
  • Experience working in BigQuery or a comparable SQL-based data warehouse
  • Comfort reviewing and validating data sets for accuracy
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with non-technical stakeholders
  • Exposure to R, Python, dbt, Omni or Domo is a plus

Our approach to compensation:

Salary Range:  $21 per hour

** please note co-ops are not eligible for company benefits **
