📱 Mobile Developer – Build Scalable Mobile Apps with React Native & Node.js (Full-Time, Remote)

Are you a mobile developer who thrives on turning complex ideas into powerful user experiences? Join Launchpad and lead the development of robust, scalable applications used across the globe. You'll work across the full stack—React Native, Node.js, PostgreSQL—bringing seamless experiences to life, from UI to production deployment.

📆 Contract length: Indefinite

🌐 Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30 to 16.30 PST

🏡 Work mode: 100% remote

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and develop mobile applications using React Native for cross-platform functionality
  • Build dynamic, responsive interfaces with React
  • Create and maintain scalable back-end services using Node.js
  • Design, test, and document RESTful APIs for efficient front-end/back-end communication
  • Manage databases using PostgreSQL, with occasional use of MongoDB
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps
  • Optimize for performance, security, and scalability
  • Apply solid debugging and testing practices (Jest, Detox, etc.)
  • Align technical solutions with business goals alongside cross-functional teams
  • Stay current on full-stack development trends and emerging technologies

✅ What You Need to Succeed

Must-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
  • Strong proficiency in React Native, React, and Node.js
  • Experience deploying apps to App Store / Google Play
  • Hands-on experience with Jest, Detox, or similar mobile testing frameworks
  • Solid understanding of REST API design and PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and secure DevOps practices
  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with AWS, Lambda, Auth0, or LaunchDarkly
  • Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Python
