Legend Biotech entered into a global collaboration agreement with Janssen, one of the pharmaceutical companies of Johnson & Johnson, to jointly develop and commercialize ciltacabtagene autolecuel (cilta-cel). Our strategic partnership is designed to combine the strengths and expertise of both companies to advance the promise of an immunotherapy in the treatment of multiple myeloma.

 

Legend Biotech is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Supply Chain Finance as part of the Finance team based in Bridgewater, NJ.

 

Role Overview

Operating in a dynamic and high-growth environment, the Senior Manager, Network Supply Chain Finance serves as a critical extension of the Director, Supply Chain Finance, acting as a trusted advisor and delegate across key business and finance forums.

This role provides end-to-end financial visibility across manufacturing, collaboration, and network performance, integrating insights across site finance (Raritan, Ghent), Network FP&A, and corporate stakeholders. The individual will drive strategic decision-making, shape the financial narrative, and influence outcomes impacting cost structure, capacity, and long-term profitability.

This position is designed for a high-impact finance leader who can operate independently, navigate complexity, and effectively represent the function in senior leadership discussions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a delegate to the Director, Supply Chain Finance, representing the function in cross-functional and executive forums as needed.

  • Drive financial insights and recommendations that shape decisions across manufacturing operations, supply chain strategy, and long-term profitability.

  • Lead development of executive-ready materials for GMFR, LRFP, Business Plan, and leadership reviews, ensuring a clear and consistent financial narrative.

  • Integrate and synthesize financial performance across site finance (Raritan, Ghent) and Network FP&A to deliver a unified, enterprise-level view.

  • Ensure alignment, consistency, and transparency across forecasting, reporting, and planning processes.

  • Translate site-level drivers into actionable insights for above-site and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead financial strategy for COGS optimization, partnering cross-functionally with Operations,Supply Chain, Quality, and Procurement.
  • Develop and maintain driver-based financial models to evaluate cost initiatives, capacity investments, and operational trade-offs.

  • Provide forward-looking scenario analysis to inform strategic decisions and risk mitigation.
  • Own and drive monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range financial planning (LRFP) for manufacturing and supply chain performance.

  • Deliver clear variance analysis and performance insights, ensuring alignment with corporate expectations and financial targets.

  • Embed discipline and rigor in financial processes, assumptions, and performance tracking.

  • Lead financial oversight of collaboration agreements and external partnerships, including full product P&L modeling and profitability analysis.

  • Support financial governance, alignment, and issue resolution with external stakeholders (e.g., cost allocation, asset ownership, and reporting requirements).

  • Oversee CMO financial planning and forecasting, including scenario modeling and spend optimization.

  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and scalable tools across FP&A and reporting processes.

  • Drive standardization of methodologies across sites and Network FP&A to enhance comparability and efficiency.

  • Operate with a continuous improvement mindset, elevating the overall capability of Supply Chain Finance.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field required · MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, manufacturing finance, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in business partnering within manufacturing or supply chain environments, preferably in life sciences or pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in matrixed, global organizations and influence stakeholders across multiple levels.
  • Experience supporting executive-level decision-making (VP/CFO level) strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls and audit processes preferred.
  • Ability to operate as a trusted advisor and proxy leader, with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Proven capability to influence without authority and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong business judgment, with the ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Advanced expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and operational drivers.
  • Experience driving process improvements, automation, and transformation initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP and BI tools preferred.

I (the candidate) enter into this Non-Disclosure Agreement (the “Agreement”) with Legend Biotech USA Inc. (the “Company”), effective as of the date of my acknowledgement below, for the purpose of enabling the Company to evaluate a possible employment relationship with me.

  1. Access to Company Confidential Information. I acknowledge that for the sole and limited purpose of evaluating a possible employment relationship with me, the Company might disclose, or enable me to have access to, certain Confidential Information of the Company, as defined below.  I agree that, except for purposes of evaluating a possible employment relationship with the Company or as expressly authorized in writing by the Company, I will (a) not use or disclose any Confidential Information; (b) keep all Confidential Information confidential at all times; and (c) not copy, reproduce or modify any Confidential Information.
  2. Definition of “Confidential Information.” For purposes of this Agreement, “Confidential Information” shall mean any and all information and materials provided to me by the Company, including without limitation, inventions, trade secrets, software code, product development and marketing strategies, ideas, processes, formulas, know-how, unpublished financial information, business plans, contractual relationships with third parties and operating strategies; memoranda, notes, records, drawings, manuals, disks, or other documents and media; and all embodiments, copies, extracts, and summaries thereof; provided, however, that “Confidential Information” shall not include information that: (a) is generally known or available to the public, or (b) is furnished to me by a third party who obtained such information using lawful means and without any restrictions on disclosure.
  3. Third Party Information. I agree that during the course of communications with the Company pursuant to this Agreement or in connection with my application and interviews for employment with the Company, I will not make any unauthorized use or disclosure to the Company of any confidential or proprietary information or trade secrets of any other person or entity to whom I have an obligation of confidentiality with respect to such information, including any current or former employer.  I further agree not to provide to the Company any materials or documents of any third party that are not generally available to the public.
  4. Remedies for Breach. I acknowledge that in the event of any breach of this Agreement, the Company will not have an adequate remedy in money or damages, and therefore the Company shall be entitled to obtain temporary, preliminary and/or permanent injunctive relief to redress any such breach, from any court of competent jurisdiction, and that the Company’s right to obtain such relief shall not limit its right to obtain other available remedies.
  5. General. The interpretation and enforcement of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.  This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matters hereof; it supersedes any and all prior agreements or representations, written or oral, with respect to its subject matters; and it cannot be modified except in a written agreement signed by the Company.
