Job Summary:

The Account Executive serves as a key driver of business growth at Lendz, forging strong partnerships with mortgage brokers and serving as their trusted advisor. This is a high-impact, front-line role that focuses on relationship-building, business development, and providing unparalleled customer support to broker partners. Lendz currently offers business purpose loans to investors in AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, WA, WI, WV, WY.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Solicit New Business: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with brokers to secure loans, ensuring consistent growth in the company’s client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers, acting as a trusted resource for all questions related to the mortgage industry and Lendz
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding client service by promptly addressing loan status inquiries and resolving any issues during the loan process.
  • Operational Collaboration: Partner with the operations team to facilitate the successful submission, processing, and closing of loans as needed.
  • Client Training & Support: Provide brokers with training and conduct informational meetings.
  • Rate Lock Monitoring: Stay vigilant on expiring rate locks and ensure timely communication with brokers.

Qualifications:

  • Previous and recent wholesale mortgage Account Executive experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the mortgage and banking industries, including experience in third party originations.
  • Proven success as an Account Executive or Relationship Manager, including 1+ years of Non-QM lending experience.
  • Current producing client base with ability to show recent proof of production strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of wholesale loan origination, underwriting processes and procedures, and mortgage industry standards.
  • Professional demeanor to effectively interact with all company personnel and brokers.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain strong broker relationships with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and exceeding broker expectations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities, along with polished presentation skills to effectively engage clients and team members.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adaptable to learning new technology. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
