Job Summary:
We’re seeking a highly detail-oriented and resourceful Loan Registration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll manage the loan registration process, ensure accuracy in loan data, and support account executives by streamlining workflows. The role starts full-time in-office for the first 90 days, transitioning to a flexible schedule of three days in the office and two days remote each week.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately register loan files in the system and ensure all required documentation is complete and in compliance with company policies.
Work closely with account executives and other team members to collect necessary loan information and verify loan data before registration.
Maintain and update loan information in the system, ensuring that all entries are correct and timely.
Monitor and resolve any discrepancies in the loan registration process.
Communicate with internal departments (e.g., underwriting, processing, compliance) to ensure a smooth transition through the loan pipeline.
Track loan statuses and update account executives on the progress of registered loans.
Provide general administrative support for the loan registration process as needed.
Ensure that all loan registration procedures comply with regulatory requirements and company guidelines.
Assist in training and supporting other team members on the loan registration process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a focus on loan registration, loan processing, or operations.
Strong knowledge of mortgage loan processes, regulations, and industry standards.
Proficient in mortgage loan software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle discrepancies effectively.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with loan origination systems (LOS) or mortgage processing software.
Experience working in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.
