Job Summary:
Lendz Financial is looking for a highly organized and proactive Loan Servicing Manager – Residential Transitional Lending to join our dynamic Loan Servicing team. This position is key to ensuring accurate tracking of borrower payments and draws, preparing and submitting funding requests, maintaining precise loan documentation, and keeping our loan portal up to date. Your efforts will directly support portfolio performance, enhance cash flow, and help us deliver outstanding service to our broker and investor partners.
This is an onsite position at our Fort Lauderdale office, offering a collaborative, hands-on environment that encourages innovation and teamwork. A hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) may be available after an initial period.
Responsibilities:
- Loan Servicing & Payment Tracking

Monitor borrower payment schedules, process payments, and follow up on delinquencies

Reconcile incoming funds with payment ledgers and investor remittances

- Draw Management & Funding Requests

Review and validate draw requests in accordance with loan agreements and investor guidelines

Prepare draw packages, submit funding requests to treasury or warehouse lines, and confirm disbursement

- System Maintenance

Update loan statuses, payment histories, draws, and notes in the loan origination/servicing portal

Generate and distribute portfolio performance reports and dashboards

- Communication & Coordination

Liaise with mortgage brokers, underwriting, funding, accounting, and investor relations teams

Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding loan status, payment inquiries, and draw procedures

- Compliance & Quality Control

Ensure all servicing activities comply with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Assist with periodic audits, investor due-diligence requests, and portfolio reviews

- Process Improvement

Identify opportunities to streamline loan servicing workflows and enhance automation

Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and participate in cross-functional process mapping

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of mortgage servicing, portfolio management, or loan operations experience — Non-QM or specialty lending a plus
- Proficiency with loan origination/servicing systems and MS Excel
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer-service oriented
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
