About the Job

The Social Media Manager will join our award-winning brand team to craft an industry-leading social media strategy with a significant focus on growing our YouTube presence. You'll develop compelling video content that captivates attention and sparks conversations to drive meaningful engagement and establish Life360 as one of the most entertaining and compelling brands to follow across social platforms.

You'll work at the forefront of our brand voice, creating authentic social content that stands out in crowded feeds, with special emphasis on building out our YouTube and other video-based channels with high-quality video storytelling. Your work will showcase how our technology brings families closer together through entertaining, shareable stories that reflect real-world experiences while highlighting the meaningful impact of our safety features—connecting authentically with how families actually live and transforming our app's tech into content that resonates with our audience's daily lives.

This isn't your typical social media role with rigid content calendars and endless approval chains. We're seeking a bold, high-agency content creator who can spot cultural moments as they happen and confidently place Life360 at the center of relevant conversations, especially through YouTube and TikTok’s powerful video platform. You should be a storyteller at heart, able to transform even the most technical or dry concepts into compelling, shareable content that captivates our audience. You'll have the autonomy to react to emerging trends in real-time, bringing creative vision and strategic thinking to our social feeds, with YouTube as a key channel for deeper storytelling and brand building.

The US-based salary range for this position is $118,000-$173,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

  • Spearhead the growth and development of our YouTube channel as the primary focus, creating a comprehensive content strategy that expands reach, engagement, and subscriber base while maintaining presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads, and Twitter
  • Architect and oversee bold, emotionally resonant content that transforms conventional safety messaging into uniquely Life360 stories showcasing how we seamlessly integrate into modern family life
  • Lead our social presence during both day-to-day operations and high-stakes moments, from product launches to time-sensitive safety events, ensuring consistent brand voice and engagement
  • Deliver strategic social media reporting with actionable insights from performance analytics and social listening that drive content decisions and demonstrate business impact
  • Partner cross-functionally with channel and creative teams to develop distinctive social-first campaigns, establish brand best practices, and ensure seamless integration in go-to-market initiatives
  • Inspire and develop social media talent through thoughtful mentorship, strategic direction, and fostering creative growth that elevates team capabilities
  • Build a comprehensive content ecosystem that turns ordinary family stories into extraordinary demonstrations of connection, creating a library of authentic moments that resonate with our audience

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management with proven success building and growing a YouTube channel, including subscriber acquisition strategies and platform-optimized content
  • Strategic video creator and editor who develops innovative concepts from ideation to execution across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with ability to transform technical features into compelling content
  • Strong command of brand voice and exceptional copywriting skills that maintain consistent identity while adapting strategies for different markets and platforms
  • Visual storyteller with expertise in creating breakthrough content through compelling imagery and video composition that stands out in crowded feeds
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on trending moments, with agility to balance planned content calendars with real-time opportunities
  • Collaborative partner who integrates social-first thinking into broader marketing initiatives and works effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Adaptable professional who quickly adjusts to platform algorithm changes and emerging trends while driving consistent engagement
  • Data-driven strategist who combines creative vision with performance analytics to inform content decisions
  • Bold, innovative thinker with a user-focused approach and curiosity about how our audience interacts with our product

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
