About the Team

The Circle Expansion team at Life360 is building the next frontier of meaningful connection — deepening Life360’s peace-of-mind platform beyond the core family circle: aging parents staying safely independent, pre-teens navigating the world with wearables, and extended families and loved ones living apart. Our mission is to unlock more value for these members and the families around them, with features that help them stay safe, connected, and sane amidst the chaos of everyday family life.

About the Job

Life360 is hiring a Product Director for Circle Expansion — a seasoned PM who doesn’t just use AI tools, but thinks natively in them. You’ll lead product strategy and execution as a high impact individual contributor across Life360’s fastest-growing new member segments, with aging parents as a cornerstone use case alongside pre-teens with wearables, extended families living apart, and the communities people are already a part of.

This is a high-ownership, greenfield role. You’ll drive customer discovery, shape the product roadmap, and work closely with our AI-Native engineering team to ship experiences that matter. You’ll help define what AI-Native product management looks like at Life360 — from how we synthesize research and write specs, to how we run discovery and measure impact. You’ll set the standard others will follow.

You’ll operate simultaneously as a senior strategist and a hands-on IC — toggling between executive-level framing and detailed product requirements for Engineering, UX, and PMM. If you’re energized by developing clarity in ambiguity, motivated by outsized impact, and excited about the people we’re building for, this role was made for you.

For candidates based in the US, the salary base range for this position is $201,500 - 294,500 USD.  For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range is 202,500 - 237,500 CAD.  Note: We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary — therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Circle Expansion product roadmap across multiple member segments — managing the full product lifecycle from discovery through growth.
  • Drive customer discovery that is deep, rigorous, and fast — using AI-Native research workflows to synthesize signals, surface insights, and validate hypotheses across segments.
  • Define product strategy and vision grounded in customer needs, business objectives, and Life360’s platform strengths — and communicate it compellingly to leadership, engineering, and go-to-market partners.
  • Work with AI as a first-class collaborator — your primary workflow involves using AI to accelerate discovery synthesis, spec writing, competitive analysis, metric tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner tightly with design and engineering to translate complex user problems into elegant, scalable solutions, making smart trade-offs between UX, cost, and technical constraints.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy in partnership with marketing, growth, and operations — ensuring end-to-end thinking that spans product development, acquisition, activation, and retention and using experimentation to drive and measure success.
  • Own the metrics of the Circle Expansion product portfolio across customer-centric KPIs, subscription impact, revenue, and retention.
  • Evangelize the vision for Circle Expansion, serving as the voice of the customer — aging parents, young adults, coaches, and caregivers — across all aspects of the product experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in consumer-oriented mobile products from concept to launch
  • Proven success managing full product lifecycles — from customer discovery and roadmap creation through go-to-market and ongoing optimization
  • Experience building for diverse or underserved consumer segments; familiarity with multigenerational audiences, aging adults, or caregiver dynamics is a strong plus
  • Strong ability to define product vision and strategy grounded in customer insights, data, and business objectives
  • Ability to synthesize complex trade-offs between user experience, cost, schedule, and technical constraints
  • Demonstrated skill collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, growth, marketing, and finance
  • Analytical mindset with experience owning KPIs such as product activation, engagement, retention, and subscription conversion
  • Deep experimentation expertise including leveraging methods such as A/B/n and multi-armed bandit methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to evangelize product vision across internal and external audiences
  • Comfort operating at both strategic and tactical levels; can move fluidly from long-term roadmap thinking to day-to-day execution details
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments; able to lead through ambiguity and drive clarity across teams
  • Fluency in AI-Native ways of working — actively using AI tools across the full PM workflow (discovery synthesis, spec writing, rapid prototyping, data analysis) and a track record of helping build or ship AI-native product experiences
  • A genuine excitement for defining what AI-Native product management looks like — you’re not waiting for the playbook, you want to write it
  • Empathy for the humans behind the product — an aging parent trying to stay independent, a family spread across time zones trying to stay close, someone just trying to stay safe, connected, and sane amidst the chaos of everyday life.

Our Benefits

  • Competitive pay and benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for employees)
  • 401(k) plan with company matching program
  • Mental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental wellbeing
  • Flexible PTO, plus several company-wide days off throughout the year

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
