Position: Maintenance Technician II

Job Summary: A Lighthouse Maintenance Technician supports the upkeep and function of the company's property and facilities, ensuring effective, safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations for staff and clients. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Replace and finish sheets of drywall to maintain a polished
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with washer/dryer panel boards, carrying out effective replacements when necessary.
  • Replace or repair leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices.
  • Assess and resolve issues pertaining to building heating/cooling systems, electrical components, and water plumbing systems
  • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of common electrical issues, aiding in quick problem
  • Identify necessary repairs or updates, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tailored to our most probable maintenance needs, ensuring timely repairs.
  • Keep detailed maintenance logs using departmentally required software, ensuring a comprehensive record of all activities.
  • Exhibit familiarity and competence in the use of both basic hand and power tools for various
  • Prioritize and swiftly respond to the evolving needs of the business, ensuring minimal

Required Experience/Certifications:

  • HS Graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience, certification in specialty in any of the following: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC/R.
  • Competence in each of the identified technical specialties as required for this position's level of responsibility: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC/R.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina, enabling the completion of demanding tasks in diverse weather
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License, insurance, and willingness to travel.
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen.
  • Must be 25 years or older

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
