The Events & Marketing Coordinator is pivotal in leading the planning and execution of live and virtual events while supporting broader marketing initiatives. This role is essential in enhancing Lightspeed's presence across industries, including Powersports, RV, Marine, and Trailer, and delivering impactful experiences for our customers and partners.
The ideal candidate will bring an enthusiastic approach coupled with strong event coordination skills, marketing expertise, and a creative mindset to manage tradeshows, webinars, OEM meetings, and Lightspeed’s user conference. This is a dynamic position that requires balancing event planning with marketing coordination, ensuring brand consistency and customer engagement.
What you'll do:
- Lead the organization of tradeshows, webinars, OEM meetings, and Lightspeed’s user conference, from concept to execution.
- Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure all event details align with business objectives.
- Coordinate venue selection, vendor negotiations, registration, AV setup, and other event logistics.
- Develop promotional strategies to drive attendance and engagement, leveraging email campaigns, social media, and digital advertising.
- Monitor event budgets and timelines, ensuring events are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Analyze post-event performance, gather attendee feedback, and recommend improvements for future events.
- Assist in developing event-related marketing materials, including brochures, email templates, landing pages, and social media graphics.
- Ensure all marketing collateral aligns with Lightspeed's branding guidelines and tone.
- Support broader marketing campaigns by creating visuals, tracking performance metrics, and reporting on results.
- Stay current on industry trends and propose creative strategies to enhance Lightspeed’s marketing efforts.
- Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Setup tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online paid digital campaigns.
- Manage the Marketing SharePoint team site. Assist in the maintenance of digital assets; graphics, dealer photos, marketing collateral and print ads.
- Support the Lightspeed print ads by managing all ad resizing and UTM tracking.
What you'll have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in event planning and marketing, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot and virtual event platforms is a plus.
- Self-starter attitude with a passion for creating impactful events and drive event traffic.
- Experience with Canva, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), and HubSpot is highly desirable.
