At Lightspeed Systems we are on a mission to advance educational effectiveness and safety for every student. We do this by giving school staff, students, and parents the tools to ensure that devices are used for their intended purpose, to educate.    

Our products are all powered by the data we capture, and we need someone with a strong data background to be able to harness this data with an eye for how it can be turned into insights and actions.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

  • Be a data rockstar 
  • Develop and execute a roadmap to evolve data capabilities from basic collection and reporting into a cohesive and valuable data product 
  • Be able to communicate work in progress effectively to all internal stakeholders to ensure clear alignment and prioritization 
  • Oversee the design and implementation of pipelines and processes that integrate diverse data sources into a unified product 
  • Articulate communication both verbally and in writing 
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills 
  • Be a subject matter expert in the power of data and how to harness it 

NEED TO HAVE 

  • 3+ years experience in a product role such as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or Product Manager
  • 3+ years experience in a data role
  • 1+ year SAAS software experience 

NICE TO HAVE 

  • B2B Product experience 
  • Education industry experience
