About Us
We’re a hyper-growth beverage brand looking for a Senior Digital Retail Campaign Manager who can help us deploy our funnel funnel media strategy to turn our outstanding awareness into retail .com and Brick and mortar transactions.
What You’ll Do
- Own Lower-Funnel Search Across Retail Media Networks: Architect and scale search campaigns on Amazon, Walmart Connect, KPM, Instacart Ads, Target Roundel, Kroger Precision, —driving incremental sales at every stage of the path-to-purchase.
- Master Mid/Lower-Funnel Paid Social: Build and optimize performance-max funnels on Meta, TikTok, and Snap—prioritizing frequency and retargeting.
- Drive Relentless Optimization: Manage bidding strategies (CPC, CTR, NTB), budget pacing, and audience segmentation across platforms; A/B test creatives
- Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with eComm, merchandising, and brand teams ensuring campaign execution is airtight and attribution is bulletproof.
- Govern Budgets, Forecasts & Reporting: Own quarterly spend with ironclad forecasting, real-time pacing dashboards, and executive-ready performance recaps (incrementality, halo, MTA where applicable).
- Anticipate Platform Evolution: Stay ahead of retail media bid algorithms, social commerce updates, proactively test new tactics and influence roadmap with first-mover wins.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Liquid Death’s entire retail media search advertising strategy from start to finish through key retail media networks (Amazon, Kroger, Target, Walmart, etc.). Ability to manage both strategic planning and tactical execution with minimal oversight. Track record of not only hitting but exceeding ad sales and New To bBrand / House Hold penetration targets.
- Oversee Liquid Death’s entire social advertising strategy from start to finish across top channels like Meta and TikTok. Ability to optimize campaigns based on target KPIs (audience targeting, conversion rate, ROAS, etc.) with oversight from the e-commerce growth manager.
- Clear comfortability in utilizing historical campaign data and 3rd party data sources to drive campaign optimizations. Deep understanding and experience with ad automation software. Ability to articulate ad automation strategies to internal stakeholders and monitor performance for non-automation optimizations based on business needs. Expertise with Stackline preferred.
- Ability to autonomously manage external advertising representatives with little to no oversight from their manager. Consistently challenging advertising representatives on beta test opportunities, innovative strategies, and making our ad dollars go further.
- Strong retail business acumen with an understanding on how advertising strategies impact brand revenue and profitability. Has demonstrated an understanding of the impact that inventory, promotions, customer experience, and other digital retail levers have on the overall advertising health of a business.
- Act as a thought leader as new advertising opportunities arise in the digital space. Ability to build and present an executive proposal for testing new platforms and strategies. Displays initiative in driving the business forward with minimal direction from their manager.
- Ability to manage multi-million dollar ad budgets with minimal oversight from their manager. Comfortability to recommend movements in budget based on performance outcomes.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related business field preferred
- A minimum of 5+ years of relatable Media Buyer experience either agency or in-house with a focus on retail media and paid social
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience managing and executing Amazon search advertising (self-service) with little oversight
- 2+ years in managing search ads across Kroger, Walmart, Target, Google, social media, etc.
- 2+ years managing social ads on platforms like Meta and TikTok
- Understanding of ad formats and targeting across digital retail and social platforms (ex. Citrus Ads, Criteo, Amazon Sponsored Products, Amazon DSP, CTV, Meta, TikTok etc)
- Experience investigating campaign performance analytics while also offering high-level strategic recommendations
- Autonomous and proactive
- Advanced analytical skills and problem solving capability
- Experience working in a high growth start up environment (fast paced) preferred
- Domestic travel up to 10% as needed
The typical salary range for this position is: $110,000 - $130,000
