Why This Role Matters
As a Mechanical Design Associate, you will play a key role in helping us deliver the next generation of immersion cooling products. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow in a fast-paced, global startup environment.
You’ll be hands-on with 3D/2D designs, work alongside experienced engineers, and learn how to turn technical ideas into scalable, real-world solutions. What You’ll Do
- Use SolidWorks to create detailed 3D and 2D mechanical drawings
- Support BOM creation, design libraries, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to support product design and manufacturability
- Create visual materials (e.g., exploded views, renderings) for internal and customer-facing projects
- Participate in team design reviews and incorporate technical feedback
- Assist in scaling our design processes, file structures, and PLM documentation
- Communicate directly with China-based suppliers in Mandarin and Cantonese to clarify technical matters
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who’s eager to grow with us long-term in a supportive, hands-on role.
- 0–3 years of experience in mechanical design (graduates welcome!)
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (required)
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Willing to do hands-on drafting and design work long-term
- Content with a steady, design-focused career path
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, respectful attitude and suited to a structured team environment
- Open to learning and contributing over time without fast-tracking into management
