
Mechanical Design Associate

We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of next-generation liquid cooling solutions. In this role, you will create and maintain accurate 3D and 2D mechanical designs and visual assets used across engineering, manufacturing, and customer-facing proposals.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment to design, iterate, and support the development of mechanical systems for data centers, edge deployments, and AI/HPC applications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to grow technically while helping scale innovative thermal technologies.
Core Tasks:
- Design and produce precise 3D/2D mechanical drawings and documentation using SolidWorks
- Ensure manufacturability, quality, and accuracy across all mechanical designs and BOMs
- Support new product development for high-power computer and immersion cooling systems
- Create visual assets such as renderings and animations for engineering and customer-facing materials
- Participate in design reviews and continuously improve prototypes for scalability and cost-effectiveness
- Utilize CAD/CAE tools for simulations and design automation; contribute to design library standardization
Essential Skills:
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
- 3+ years of mechanical drafting/design experience (exceptional recent grads with strong portfolios welcome)
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks; SolidWorks PDM experience is a plus
- Understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing
- Familiarity with photo-realistic rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot, SolidWorks Visualize) and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication skills in English; fluency in Cantonese required, Mandarin a plus
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work with cross-functional teams
