Senior Recruiter
Lithic creates card issuing and payment infrastructure for technology companies that just works. We help some of the world’s fastest-growing digital banks, fintech companies, and software companies process billions in transactions annually.
Lithic is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our team and help us scale our talent acquisition efforts across engineering, product, and business functions. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building diverse and high-quality talent pipelines, delivering an exceptional candidate experience, and continuously improving our hiring process. Please note: this person must be located in NYC, we are open to supporting relocation.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and Manage Talent Pipelines: Proactively source, engage, and nurture relationships with top-tier candidates across engineering, product, and business roles to ensure a steady pipeline of exceptional talent.
- Candidate Experience: In partnership with our recruiting coordinator, serve as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from initial outreach through to offer stage. You’ll be a champion of our hiring culture, maintaining a consistent and exceptional experience for every candidate.
- Iterate and Improve Processes: Continuously refine our recruitment process to optimize for speed, efficiency, and candidate experience. Use data and feedback to drive improvements.
- Interview Training and Development: Own and drive interview training across the company, ensuring interviewers are well-equipped to assess candidates fairly and effectively while aligning with Lithic’s values.
- Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with the Head of People and leadership teams to develop a comprehensive playbook for identifying and hiring top talent, ensuring alignment with our company goals.
- Employer Branding: Contribute to building and amplifying Lithic’s employer brand, positioning us as one of the best places to work in NYC. You’ll advocate for our culture and values in every interaction with potential candidates.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Full Lifecycle Recruiting Experience: Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within a high-growth tech startup or small company environment.
- Technical Recruiting Expertise: Strong experience recruiting for software engineering and product management roles. You understand the nuances of these positions and know how to identify top-tier talent in a competitive market.
- Speed, Attentiveness, and Perseverance: In a fast-moving, competitive hiring landscape, you understand that these are the key advantages a small company has to attract and retain top talent.
- Data-Driven: You have a well-defined and data-informed recruiting process. You measure success, track key metrics, and continuously iterate to improve results.
- Exceptional Candidate Advocate: You believe the candidate experience is a critical factor in hiring success and are committed to creating an exceptional journey for every candidate.
- Creative and Resourceful: You’re able to think outside the box to attract and engage candidates, and are not afraid to experiment with new strategies and channels to find the best talent.

- Influential Communicator: You are a persuasive communicator who can inspire candidates, engage hiring managers, and rally teams around the hiring process.
- Fintech Experience: Familiarity with recruiting in the Fintech space is a plus.
Base Salary: $134,000 - $158,000 + equity
