About the Role
As the Team Lead, Account Management, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding and growing Litify’s existing client relationships. Reporting directly to the VP of Customer Success, you will drive renewal and expansion strategies, lead a high-performing team of Account Managers, and take ownership of account health, retention, and growth.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role. You’ll be responsible for executing renewal plans, identifying new revenue opportunities, and coaching team members to maximize client value. You’ll also be instrumental in aligning internal teams, leading monthly pipeline and strategy meetings, and serving as a key voice in evolving our account management practices.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a strategic partner to the VP, Customer Success to develop and execute renewal and upsell strategies across the client base
- Lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, providing guidance on client engagement, pipeline generation, and account planning
- Own and track key performance metrics around retention, expansion, and client satisfaction
- Lead monthly team meetings focused on pipeline progression, renewal forecasting, and growth targets
- Guide and support Account Managers in developing upsell motions and identifying whitespace opportunities
- Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Sales to ensure a seamless, value-driven customer journey
- Act as an escalation point and thought leader within the Account Management team
- Demonstrate and communicate Litify’s platform value through tailored recommendations, business reviews, and client meetings
We require:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or related SaaS roles, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity
- Proven success in managing and expanding enterprise customer relationships
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience leading meetings, coaching peers, and presenting to executive stakeholders
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams
- An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions
- Experience working with Salesforce or CRM platforms strongly preferred
- Exposure to the legal industry and working with firms of all sizes, from boutique to AmLaw 200, is a plus
- Self-starter attitude with strong organizational skills and a passion for building team culture
Disclosure:
The estimated base salary range for this role is $100,000-115,000. You will also be offered a bonus and benefits.
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.
Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
