Inside Sales Representative - Events Focus

Loka is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to support our sales leads and work with world-changing startups. Our engineering teams are applying advanced technologies to companies that are supercharging cancer research, eliminating child illiteracy and revolutionizing telehealth and more. Your work as an ISR will help us expand our business and deepen our impact around the globe. 

In this position, you’ll own several internal and client-facing processes, attend customer calls and ensure Loka delivers customer experience-obsessed results to the companies we work with. You’ll also play a key role in event support—helping us track outcomes, maintain clean data, and bring new ideas to the table to optimize how we show up and follow through. You’ll bridge technical and business objectives with clear, accurate communication between customers and internal teams. And you’ll do it all while working entirely remotely and enjoying every other Friday off 😎

Responsibilities

  • Meet new customers and help our leads deliver the best possible experience to customers and our AWS partner representatives
  • Coordinate with internal teams to successfully execute projects
  • Track existing customer projects and prospects to define and execute the best path for customers
  • Maintain communication with Loka’s partners regarding existing opportunities
  • Ensure all sales admin processes run smoothly
  • Support event reporting by ensuring clean, consistent data across CRM and other tools
  • Help track and measure event outcomes, and surface learnings to improve future planning
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to follow up on event leads and opportunities

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a customer-facing role
  • Strong organizational skills and proven track record of creating and maintaining processes around a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing or related field
  • 4 hours daily overlap with US time zone (8 AM-12 PM Pacific Standard Time)
  • Experience with software consultancies a plus
