Longmark Group is seeking a results-driven Human Resources Manager to support our Sales & Marketing teams. This role will act as a hybrid HRBP and People Operations Manager, ensuring that employees and managers are equipped with the resources, support, and guidance needed to drive performance, engagement, and compliance.

A significant focus of this role will be employee relations and performance management. The idea candidate is a strategic, hands-on HR professional with experience managing the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, distributed environment. This position reports to the Director of People and collaborates closely with Sales Managers, Sales Reps, leadership, IT, and Finance. This is a fully remote position.  

Key Responsibilities:

HRBP Responsibilities: 

Serve as a trusted advisor to Sales & Marketing leaders, providing guidance on performance management, coaching, employee relations, and offboarding. 

  • Drive the execution of onboarding, engagement, performance management, and offboarding processes for the Sales & Marketing teams. 
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and providing solutions that balance employee experience with business objectives. 
  • Support managers in creating performance plans and ensuring alignment with company policies and best practices. 

Partner with managers to enhance team performance and morale through ongoing coaching, feedback, check-ins, and training. 

  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with team goals, KPIs, and organizational priorities. 

People Operations Responsibilities

  • Ensure an open line of communication between HR and employees in the Sales & Marketing groups to create a seamless and supportive employee experience.  
  • Act as initial point of contact for LMG employees with HR-related questions.
  • Build strong relationships with LMG employees and managers, fostering trust and a high-performance culture. 
  • Support HR data integrity and compliance, ensuring HRIS updates, policy adherence, and reporting accuracy. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

Special Projects

  • Support Director of People in strategic projects, as needed.

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years experience in human resources, people operations, or a related field, with a focus on employee relations and performance management. 
  • Experience working within a sales organization or a high-volume, fast-paced environment is strongly preferred. 
  • Multi-state HR management experience required; knowledge of employment laws and compliance best practices. 
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with Rippling, or comparable HRIS system, is highly preferred.  
  • Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple HR projects simultaneously. 
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a fast-changing environment. 
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
