We’ve already achieved significant milestones on our path to earning FDA approval for the first lifespan extension drug for any species. We have three products in our pipeline and are on track for FDA conditional approval for the first in late 2025.

About the role
Are you a veterinary tech or in the vet space looking to transition into a new career path while staying close to animal health? This in-office role at Loyal’s Springfield, MO location offers a unique opportunity to support office operations, customer service, and clinical trial activities at Loyal. You’ll work closely with veterinarians, including the VP of Clinical and Veterinary Medicine, assisting with drug distribution and FDA inspections, and performing administrative tasks.
Over time, you’ll gain expertise in Loyal’s drug distribution SOPs, and play a key role in clinical trial operations. Responsibilities in this area will include supporting veterinary continuing education, managing CE certificates, assisting with medical monitoring, and triaging inquiries. This dynamic role blends administrative and clinical support, providing a new way to apply your veterinary expertise while continuing to grow in the field.
Your daily work will include
- Work in person at our Springfield, MO office to support our FDA drug distribution program.
- Providing customer service for veterinary clinics participating in our clinical trials, as well as their clients.
- Be part of a team that collaborates across different departments, like clinical trials, drug distribution, and state licensing.
- Support medical monitoring in clinical trials by working closely with our veterinarians.
- Help the clinical development and operations teams with administrative tasks.
- Assist with managing continuing education (CE) training for veterinarians, including tracking certificates and keeping everything organized.
- Be the go-to person between our drug development team and clients, making sure Loyal is represented in a friendly and helpful way.
- As you get more comfortable in the role, you’ll take on more responsibility, especially in clinical trial support and customer service.
About you
- You’re great at both written and verbal communication, especially when it comes to customer service.
- You’ve got a background in veterinary clinics, so you’re familiar with the ins and outs of the field.
- You’re tech-savvy (or at least ready to learn new software and systems).
- You’re comfortable working independently in the office and can juggle multiple tasks at once.
- You love learning and tackling new challenges as they come.
The Ideal Candidate
- Is able to work independently and in the office full-time in Springfield, MO.
- Has a degree in science, veterinary technician, or something similar preferred (BS, BA, LVT/RVT).
- Has clinical or technical experience in veterinary medicine (preferred, but not required).
- Knows a bit about pharmaceutical regulations and clinical trials in veterinary medicine—or is excited to learn about them over time.
- Is eager to take on new tasks and grow with the company.

Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000
