Role Objective

The Supply Chain Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring Lucid Bots' supply chain operations are efficient, cost-effective, and resilient. You will collaborate across teams to optimize procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships. This role is essential for ensuring smooth production and delivery of our cutting-edge robotics solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Source and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and ensuring on-time delivery of raw materials and components while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock availability while minimizing costs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate supply chain reports, tracking key performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with production needs.
  • Ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations and trade policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain to prevent disruptions.
  • Work with ERP (Acumatica) and inventory management systems to track and forecast material needs effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or robotics environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, demand planning, and supplier negotiations.
  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems to plan, schedule, and manage material flow to meet production demands.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills for supplier management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing supply chain challenges.
  • APICS or CSCP Certification preferred.

Additional Notes

This role is based in Charlotte, NC, and requires regular collaboration with the on-site team. The Supply Chain Specialist will have opportunities to work hands-on with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to drive supply chain excellence.
