We are currently seeking a software calibration engineer for thermal & HVAC controls. This position requires an experienced professional who will be responsible for development and delivery of Thermal subsystem features and functions. Close collaboration with vehicle feature owners and will be expected to deliver a class leading HVAC solution to our expanding list of vehicle platforms.

You Will:
- Calibrate the HVAC and thermal system to provide best customer experience by balancing comfort, noise and efficiency in all operating conditions.
- Optimize powertrain and battery thermal management algorithms to meet performance targets while balancing cabin comfort needs.
- Own the elicitation and capture of requirements from all stakeholders for the HVAC and thermal system.
- Routinely improve HVAC and thermal system performance in response to engineering and customer feedback.
- Work closely with the verification and validation teams to define and execute test & validation plans for HVAC features and functions.
- Support the continuous improvement of vehicle HVAC and thermal systems across the enterprise.
You Bring:
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or a related technical major is required
- Experience as a responsible engineer for thermal or HVAC automotive products.
- Thorough understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, refrigeration cycles.
- Familiar with feedback control, signal processing, and state estimation algorithms.
- Experienced with model-based controls calibration and debugging in MATLAB / Simulink.
- Basic time series data analytics experience for debugging, metrics collection, and technical report writing.
- Ownership of the entire product life cycle through production delivery on at least two distinct devices/systems.
- An analytical and questioning mindset
- Experience with typical Automotive engineering tools such as Canape, CANoe/CANalyzer, PCAN etc.
- Willingness for frequent travel.
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$123,200 - $169,400 USD
