Role:
· Work on developing state-of-the-art simulation pipeline for testing ADAS/AD features allowing for rapid definition and scalable management of the vast number of required scenarios
· Interface Simulation System with AD Software Stack
· Integrate the core Simulation Engine with various closed-loop test environments like SIL and HIL
· Develop and use tools to create scenarios
· Write Software to scale the capabilities of the Simulation System
· Implement KPIs for automated validation
· Contribute to the Simulation System’s infrastructure and scale the capability
Qualifications (must have):
· Demonstrated excellence in programming/scripting languages such as C/C++ and Python
· Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal and Unity, or automotive simulators (e.g., VTD, CarMaker)
· Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn
Preferred:
· Working knowledge of middleware solutions like ROS
· Ability to write and deploy shell scripts
· Knowledge with descriptive interfaces like XML, YAML
· Background in sensor validation is a plus
· Understanding of low-level threading primitives and optimization for real-time applications
· Up to date with the latest technical knowhow of using machine learning such as Nerf’s , LLMs for developing in house simulation stack.
Education:
· BS in Computer Science/Engineering, Data Engineering or other related fields
· Advanced degrees preferred
· 3+ years of work experience
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$163,700 - $272,800 USD
